The Court’s 2021 Criminal Justice Act (CJA) New Application Process remains open through June 28, 2021. Dependent on experience, attorneys who wish to serve as appointed contract counsel on criminal cases may apply to be members of the CJA Panel or the CJA Mentee Panel Program. The application and more information on CJA related processes is located on the Court's website at https://www.moed.uscourts.gov/criminal-justice-act-cja.

Any attorney requesting to be a new member of the CJA Panel or CJA Mentee Panel Program must submit a completed application for membership no later than June 28, 2021. Applications must be sent to the attention of Clerk of Court Gregory J. Linhares by email to MOED_CJA_Applications@moed.uscourts.gov by the deadline stated above. For those selected, new CJA member terms will begin in October.
