With great sadness, we share the news that former U.S. Attorney Steve Higgins passed away yesterday.

Steve will be missed and always remembered for his legal acumen and service to his country. Steve not only served as United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri from 1990 until 1993, but in 1968, served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. He was a vibrant and important part of our legal community.

Steve is survived by his wife Carol and his daughters Margaret and Beth. Memorial arrangements are pending.
